Paoli Hospital is a not-for-profit, fully accredited 249-bed community hospital located on a 44-acre site in Willistown Township in Chester County. It has grown from modest beginnings in 1913 as the seven-room Homeopathic Hospital of Chester County to a Level II Trauma Center with contemporary medical/surgical technologies one would expect in a large urban hospital. More than 1500 trauma patients per year are treated by Paoli’s experienced team of trauma, neuro and orthopedic surgeons, Magnet® nurses and emergency department staff. Since its accreditation in 2010 by the PTSF as the county’s only trauma center, Paoli Hospital continues its deep commitment to compassionate and quality care. The hospital has been recognized several years among Truven® Health’s prestigious list of Top 100 Hospitals and US News & World Report’s Best Regional Hospitals in multiple specialties.
