Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hecktown Oaks (LVH–Hecktown Oaks), part of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), provides high-quality specialized trauma care, and world-class emergency care in a safe environment for patients of all ages. LVH–Hecktown Oaks has the capabilities to stabilize injured patients and, if necessary, transport by ground or via helicopter to another one of LVHN’s hospitals with more advanced trauma care capability. A helipad located near the emergency department entrance and quick access to major highways means access to air and ground transport is readily available.
The emergency department has dedicated trauma bays and staff who are prepared to provide immediate evaluation, treatment, and care for patients.
As an accredited trauma center, LVH–Hecktown Oaks is designed and staffed to handle all ranges of traumatic injuries. The hospital meets state and local requirements to treat life-threatening injuries and participates in trauma quality monitoring and evaluation of outcomes.
