I have a patient who was tested for COVID-19 during their hospital stay. Their first test came back positive, however the following two tests they had were both negative. The doctors documented the results as a false positive. When entering this into the additional PTSF element field, would this be considered a negative diagnosis? Question for you….I have two COVID scenarios for you…When there is a patient that has a COVID test within 30 days of admission to the hospital and also has testing in the hospital what result do you take (especially when the results are not the same) The patient arrived to the ED and gained a COVID test and it was negative on day #5 of admission an additional test was taken and the test result was Positive, post admission day #18 an additional test was taken, to allow return to the SNF and the test result was Negative what test result do you take?
