Amy Kempinski, MSN, RN, CEN, TCRN, leads the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation as President, bringing distinguished expertise across the trauma care continuum. Her national impact is evident through her leadership roles with the American College of Surgeons System Consultation Team, serving as a trauma center consultant and site surveyor nationwide, and as Past President of the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN).
Kempinski’s professional affiliations include, among others, the Trauma Center Association of America, American Trauma Society, Emergency Nurses Association, and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. She serves as a peer-review editor for the Journal of Trauma Nursing and contributes significantly to trauma education. Her professional accolades include serving on the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing Exam Content Review Committee and previous faculty roles for advanced courses such as Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Trauma Outcomes and Performance Improvement Course (TOPIC) and Optimal Trauma Center Organization & Management Course (Optimal).
