Staff
Juliet Geiger, RN, MSN is the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF) and oversees operations of the organization which encompasses accreditation, education, and research. Juliet joined the staff in February 2003 and comes to PTSF after being employed for 19 years at Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH) in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She graduated from DeSales University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and upon graduation was employed as a critical care staff nurse. In 1995, she received her Master’s of Science Degree from DeSales University as a Clinical Nurse Specialist focusing on trauma and pain management. At that time, she accepted a nursing education position in the Shock Trauma Unit. Two years later, she accepted the position of Trauma Program Coordinator. In 2000 Juliet was elected to the PTSF Board of Directors as a representative of the Pennsylvania State Nurse’s Association and served on numerous Foundation committees. Presently she is an associate member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and continues to serve as a member of the Pennsylvania State Nurse’s Association and the Society of Trauma Nurses.
Nathan McWilliams, MPA, RHIA joined the staff in March 2000 as the Trauma Registry Analyst and in 2006 became Director of MIS/Trauma Registry. Nathan is a Registered Health Information Administrator by the American Health Information Management Association. Nathan holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Penn State University and a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
Nathan has worked with QuadraMed Corporation (formerly Cabot Marsh) as a coder and consultant providing educational programs. He was a medical record technician for Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg.
Nathan is an active member and past president of the Central Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association. Other professional organizations include the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association, the American Health Information Management Association and the American Society for Public Administration.
Kristine Lucabaugh, RHIA, CSTR joined the staff in December 2006 as the Trauma Registry Data Specialist. Kristine is a Registered Health Information Administrator by the American Health Information Management Association and holds a bachelor's degree in Health Information Management from York College of Pennsylvania. Kristine is also a Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry by the American Trauma Society.
Kristine began her career as a Tumor Registrar at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Over the next ten years, she worked at Lancaster General Hospital in various managerial roles in the Health Information Management Department. Desiring a change from management, Kristine joined the trauma department team at Lancaster General Hospital (a Level II Trauma Center) where she worked in the trauma registry for five years. Realizing her love for trauma, Kristine then opted to increase her level of expertise in trauma registry by obtaining employment at The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (a Level I Trauma Center with additional qualifications in Pediatrics) for the next four years. During these nine years working in the trauma registry, Kristine also provided consultative services for a number of PA Trauma Center registries.
Kristine is currently president-elect for the Central Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association.
Kristine has three daughters; Twins-Alyssa and Ashley, and Alenna. Kristine currently lives in East Berlin with her husband and is expecting her first grandchild in September.
Kevin Burd is the Project Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation. He joined PTSF in February 2004. Kevin started his career after graduating from Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Journalism.
With over ten years of experience in Healthcare and Human Services, Kevin has worked for Beverly Enterprise, Extendicare Health Services, Inc., and several non-profit organizations local to the Harrisburg area. During his career, Kevin has worked in the areas of marketing, education, strategic planning, quality and performance improvement.
Linda Henry is the Office Manager for the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation. She joined the staff in May 2001 as the Administrative Assistant. She brings with her strong organizational and administrative skills. Linda has worked in various administrative positions, most recently with a health care organization consisting of 43 providers in 9 practice locations. Linda also served as human resource manager for 6+ years with a financial institution. She resides with her husband in Boiling Springs. She has one son and one granddaughter.
Her responsibilities include maintaining financial records; processing reimbursement requests for the Foundation and maintaining checking, fund transfer, petty cash, and postage funds. She is also responsible for office equipment, supplies, and inventory control.
Linda maintains all insurance information for Board of Directors D&O policies and designation of beneficiaries, office contents (including inventory records), workers compensations, dishonesty bonding, etc. It is also her responsibility to maintain the policies and procedures covering office operations.
Linda Stamey joined the staff in June 2010 as the Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining PTSF, she spent 9 years as Cargo Claims Manager for a Fortune 500 transportation company in Carlisle. Previously, Linda operated a day care for many years before reentering the work force. She has developed a wealth of administrative and organizational skills while running her own business and throughout her career participating in various seminars, educational classes and employer sponsored career development modules.
Linda has three children, two adult sons, Eric and Matthew, and a daughter Emma. She has lived her entire life in central Pennsylvania and has been a resident of Boiling Springs since 1986.
